*"Kick me. I'm waiting."
Hey darren...
Would you like your name or brand to rank higher in Google?
Well, duh.
Would you like your business presentations to gain more viewers?
Duh again.
Then the first two features of the day are no-brainers.
The last item offers great inspiration and motivation using one of my very favorite sources of metaphor: sports.
And it starts with an invitation to kick one of our favorite ABN community members!

“Your Personal BetterNetworker Link”
Do you remember when Facebook let you personalize your URL into a custom address?
Well, we’ve just done the same here at BetterNetworker.
Why does this matter so much? Beyond ego or even ability to remember the web address to your BetterNetworker profile, it impacts how you appear in search engines. Big time.
And we very much want you to rank as high as possible as often as possible when people Google your name.
So, if you’d like to customize your BetterNetworker URL and choose your alias, here’s what to do: 1) Go to "Settings." 2) Go to "About Me" 3) Drop down to the "URL Alias" field and enter whatever name you’d like.
Note: this does not change your user name or your login name.
It does change your particular URL address on BetterNetworker, again with the goal of helping your name rank higher in the search engines.
Joyce Penner...
“Kick me. I'm waiting.”
There are probably just as many sports metaphors for business as there are stars in the sky. Any sports fanatic will tell you one of the things they love about the game is how much it illustrates about life.
In this must-read, Joyce uses a recent encounter in her Taekwondo class. The person she was paired with had three times the classes under her belt, and a good 15-20 years less on her age.
But near the end of the class, when it came time to spar, only one of them wanted in the ring. You can probably guess which one, and that’s not really the point. The point is the way Joyce uses the story as a backdrop to people’s commitments to their business. And even further, the greater point is really to ask yourself if you’re committed to playing in the ring or content to remain on the sidelines.

“MLM Sponsoring Tips - How to Get More People to Watch Your Business Presentation”
Why aren’t people watching your MLM presentation? Simple, you’re doing something wrong. That’s according to Fontella, who recently posted a popular article on how to make sure you’re doing it right.
As long as your goals are self-centered, you'll never reach or maintain authentic success.
“This is what kills so many network marketers. They want to vomit their business over everyone without a need based relationship approach,” Fontella writes.
Here, she offers a three-step approach that is sure to help you better understand where your prospects are coming from, and how you can engage them individually. She even provides a mock-up phone conversation that portrays a very common scenario of a mother working two jobs – stuck in that place of providing for their basic needs, yet longing for more time with them.
“If you take these MLM sponsoring tips and apply them, you will see an immediate increase in the number of people who follow through with your presentations,” Fontella pledges.

Has anyone else seen American Idol?
Side note: it got much better again this season – thank heavens!
But one constant throughout all seasons is how host Ryan Seacrest underscores the importance of voting for your favorite contestants.
Every vote matters.
The fate of some very talented performers lies in your hands.
Ditto for BetterNetworker and our content, so please make sure to vote for what you like!
Cheers,
Jason, aka your personal Ryan Seacrest :-)
