What Happened to BetterNetworker.com?

Has BetterNetworker crossed over to the dark side? Have we become evil and malicious? Are we out to snatch your children in the night? Don't worry, the answer is no! :-)?
Imagine, if you will, a meeting at BN headquarters where we're discussing plans for improving site performance, security and disaster recovery. We do a quick refresh of the page and zing! The site is down. Alerts go out to the development team, our server host, the governor, heads of state... Okay, maybe not the last two, but you get the point!
Not only is the site down, but we were instantly tagged as a malicious site.
As if!
BetterNetworker is nearing 90,000 members and is on target to hit 100,000 in the coming months. With the growth that we have experienced, becoming a target for malicious attacks is inevitable.
The timing of the outage is actually a bit uncanny since we're currently in talks with companies that are behind some of the most advanced hosting solutions in existence. One of the companies that we are exploring would actually submerge our servers in liquid, if you can imagine...
The point is, "Aw, shucks! You got us!" But in the process, you've also helped us spot potential vulnerabilities.
At no time was any sensitive information compromised, and the downtime will actually allow us to make a few needed upgrades.
We expect to be back online in no time.
While we've got a moment, this is a good as time as any to share with you what's on the horizon for BetterNetworker.
